Järelsõna
Agressiivsus ei ole sünnipärane. Vägivald ei
ole inimeste suhtlemises loomulik, hoolimata sellest, et seda
on alati ette tulnud. See on hälve. Agressiivsus on eesmärgile
jõudmise vahend, sellest otsitakse abi siis, kui muud
võimalust ei ole.
Kui tunnistada, et inimene saavutab eetilised ideaalid ja käitumisreeglid
teistega suheldes, siis langeb vastutus inimese sotsiaalse arengu
hälvete eest kasvatajale. Võib väita, et inimese
võime vastutada oma lähikeskkonna eest on vähenenud,
kergem on vastutada kaugete asjade eest; inimese oma, igapäevane
elu voolab näilise kergusega, seda teadlikult juhtida peetakse
liiga raskeks. Vastutus oma lähiümbruse eest jäetakse
meelsasti ametnike ja kutseliste abistajate kanda.
Inimene ei ole veel küllalt ärganud, et oma kultuuri
kaitsta. Kõige muu - õhu, hättasattunud loomade
jms. - kaitsmine on edumeelne, kultuuri kaitseks astutud samme
võidakse kergesti pidada tsensuuriks ja piiranguteks.
Vastutuse äratamine nõuab teadvustamist ja keskustelu,
mis ei tohi olla omaette eesmärk, sest siis on oht tuimaks
jääda. Nii näibki olevat juhtunud vägivalla
ja selle põhjuste aruteluga. Lõputud keskustelud,
millele ei järgne mõjusaid tegusid, on väsitavad.
Samal ajal kasvab lootusetusetunne ja lisandub vägivallale
alistumine.
Vägivalla põhjusi puudutavate teadmiste hulk on juba
ületanud selle künnise, mille järel tuleks sõnade
tegemise asemel hakata tegutsema. See kehtib nii ühiskonna
kui ka iga kasvataja kohta. Lapse kasvatamine sotsiaalseks olendiks
on kultuuri edendamine.
